Another Last Chance
This meeting has been postponed due to the weather.
A new date will be announced soon – expected to be early in the new year.
On Monday 11th December the full Council will reconsider the IDI Gazeley planning application (15/01531/OUT) to expand Magna Park along the A5 and up towards Ullesthorpe and the Claybrooke. The meeting will be held at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome and we hope that as many people as possible will come along at 6pm to demonstrate their objection to this application.
On Thursday 23rd November the planning committee agreed the two planning applications to further expand Magna Park. The voting was very close and for the IDI Gazeley application was only agreed by 6 votes to 5. There are so many questions about this application that it has been “called in” and will be reheard on Monday 11th December.
Please come along at 6pm on Thursday 23rd November to Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome to demonstrate to the Council just how much we oppose any further expansion at Magna Park.
NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE SURE WE ARE HEARD. BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
Encourage all your friends, family and neighbours to come along.
We know that councillors have been influenced by the number of residents that are opposed to these applications.
Let’s show them one more time!!
